  • Advertisements and Recommendations: Our platform features recommendations tailored through research and linked with referral codes; however, they are not traditional ads.

4. Plaid API and Bank Data Access

Our app uses the Plaid API to allow you to connect your bank accounts securely. By authorizing access, you consent to allow Plaid to retrieve data from your accounts every 180 days. This data includes expenses, income, and transaction history to provide a complete overview of your finances. For more details, please refer to Plaid’s privacy policy.

Plaid allows you to securely send information on your payment accounts to us and other service providers. To use Open Banking services, you will be asked to agree to Plaid’s End User Services Agreement and provide your payment account details to Plaid, or, for Open Banking connections, you will be redirected to your bank by Plaid to authenticate yourself. By agreeing to Plaid’s End User Services Agreement, you authorize Plaid to access information on your payment accounts and transmit that information to us. Plaid is subject to UK and EU data protection laws and is required to handle your data in accordance with those laws, as well as Plaid’s Privacy Policy.

5. Notifications

Notifications within the Me in Finance APP (or M.I.F APP) are fully customizable by the user. You can manage and select your notification preferences, choosing to receive alerts for actions such as new income deposits, expenses, or account re-authentication requirements.

We collaborate with several third-party providers, including:

  • Analytics: Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Pendo

  • Email Marketing: Hubspot

  • Advertising Platforms: Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn

  • APIs: Plaid API, Stripe API, OpenAI API, CoinApi, etc..

  • Security: Invisible reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare
